Hazel is a fine artist who lives in rural Pembrokeshire, South West Wales.
Working mainly in oils, she captures the countryside around her, whether it's the rolling Welsh hills or rugged coastline, usually with a little imagination (and perhaps a washing line or two thrown in for good luck!)
 
She also loves the challenge of working in various other medias, from illustrative pen and ink, to watercolours and ceramics. Working creatively with clay, Hazel produces truly unique pieces ranging from her well known Welsh Lady figures to hand pressed nature inspired vases. Each piece one of a kind and full of character.
 
Having studied at Pembrokeshire College in 2002, she then went on to gain a First Class, Honours Degree in Fine Art from Carmarthen School of Art in 2005. Since graduating, alongside painting her own pieces Hazel has also tutored art classes for Further Education in Pembrokeshire and also holds private art classes on request.
